Get to know Parkside Consultants and our founder, Ms. Jacqueline Browning.

Parkside Consultants LLC effectively coaches groups and individuals concerning various aspects of continuous improvement, development of skills, and career and performance issues. We are adept at confidentially supporting personal needs to identify objectives, action plans, and goals in formal and informal settings.

The Parkside Consultants LLC team has comprehensive experience in Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Development, Training, and Employee Relations and extensive practice in Labor Relations, Labor Affairs, Human Resources Material Development and Training, Equal Employment Planning, and Diversity/Inclusion instruction.

We also proficiently manage oral and written communications with state and federal agencies, charged with upholding laws against employment discrimination.

Ms. Jacqueline Browning

Founder and CEO

Before retirement from a global automobile manufacturer as Employee Relations Manager, Jackie acquired over 25 years of coaching experience and HR leadership experience in Employee Relations and Engagement, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Performance Management.

She has functioned as a consultant for ten years in Healthcare, Hospitality, and Manufacturing and coached in the fields of ecclesiastic, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit, utilities, and women’s business organizations.

Get to know Jackie

Founder and CEO

Growth-minded individuals, teams, and businesses and a proven catalyst for quickly influencing the development of strategies and straightforward tactics to drive lasting results.  Although she has expansive skills and knowledge, her primary focus is:

Ms. D. Yvette Montgomery

Ms. Montgomery is a nimble-minded Human Resource Consultant, focused on areas:

  • Equal Employment

  • Labor Relations

  • Training

  • Diversity & Inclusion

Yvette has 30 years of experience in Human Resources that includes Labor Relations, Personnel Relations, Human Resources Material Development and Training, Equal Employment Planning, and Diversity and Inclusion.

She supervised Human Resources personnel at facilities nationwide with regard to written and oral communications with state and federal agencies charged with upholding laws against employment discrimination.

She developed, implemented, and monitored a process for a multinational manufacturing company that provided an eight-hour diversity training session to over 90,000 employees nationwide.  She also wrote, revised, and/or updated diversity and sexual harassment related materials, i.e., speeches, brochures, guidelines, and manuals.

Yvette Montgomery is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a B.A. in Secondary Education – Speech & Communication. 

Dr. Makeda Turner PhD

Dr. Makeda Turner is an ACC certified professional coach, who has a passion for working with both students and working professionals to grow personally and professionally. Dr. Turner is the owner of Essence 4 Success Consulting, LLC an educational consulting firm that provides academic coaching and support to professional women pursuing an advanced degree. She also provides leadership coaching to professionals working in management roles.  

 

With almost 20 years of experience as a higher education administrator, Dr. Turner has worked with high achieving students on both the undergraduate and graduate level.  She has worked in areas such as admissions, academic advising, academic affairs, and adjunct instruction.  

 

 

Dr. Turner earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership, from Eastern Michigan University.  Her dissertation titled “The Essence of a College Summer Bridge Program: Voices of Students Who Completed College” explored the experiences of college graduates who participated in a Summer Bridge Program, and contributing factors to the participant’s academic and professional success beyond college graduation.
